DIVING ON SUMMER ISLAND
If you haven't had enough of the view yet, take the "air taxi" to us for the final leg of the trip and enjoy the view of the islands and lagoons with their breathtaking colors. Those who want to get up close and personal can opt for the boat transfer and, with a bit of luck, be accompanied by dolphins and flying fish...
Either way, everyone reaches their chosen destination: Summer Island Village.
The teardrop-shaped island in the North Male Atoll resembles a large garden, dotted with palm trees and white sandy beaches. Everyone immediately feels at home in the lovingly landscaped hotel complex with its tropical atmosphere.
In the lagoon along the jetty, you don't have to look long to be greeted by batfish, stingrays, moray eels and many other reef inhabitants.
The island's location on the outer reef offers an ideal diving area. The dive school's own dhoni can reach 40 different sites, including renowned spots such as Boduhiti Thila, Blue Canyon, Rasfari, The Peak, Kuda Faru, and Ziyaarai Thila. Madi Thila, the largest thila in North Male Atoll at four kilometers wide, is also on the itinerary. During the northeast monsoon, manta rays can regularly be seen feeding at these thilas. Other encounters with large fish, such as sharks and rays, are common throughout the year.
Summer Island is located in the best diving area of the North Male Atoll.

SNORKEL TRIPS
