DIVING ON HONDAAFUSHI
Hondaafushi Island Resort – A paradise for explorers in the Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
Hondaafushi is located in the eastern Haa Dhaalu Atoll in the northern Maldives. The island is approximately 500 meters wide and has a roughly 2-kilometer-long sandy beach. The offshore lagoon is ideal for bathing, swimming, and snorkeling. All water sports enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy on Hondaafushi.
Hondaafushi's house reef stretches around the more than 2 km long island. A jetty is currently being built on the west side of the island, accessible on foot. Once completed, it will provide convenient access to the house reef.

DIVE SITES HONDAAFUSHI
The island's location on the outer reef offers excellent conditions for divers. The island's own dhoni can be used to reach 30 different dive sites, including well-known spots such as Mudakan, Kuda Hoholha and Bushy. Mudakan in particular is famous for its manta rays, which can be observed in crystal-clear water all year round.
