
Dive site Diverland Hondaafushi
Batfish Road
The dive site is located on the east side of Naridhoo Island. The reef top starts at a depth of 8-12m and drops steeply to 30m+. The steep wall is dotted with numerous large overhangs, making the hearts of macro enthusiasts beat faster. Various species of snails, shrimp, and cleaner wrasse can be observed here, waiting in the small swimthroughs for the next fish. In the blue water, you'll be accompanied by a large family of batfish, tuna, and occasionally reef sharks.

Candyland
This thila, beginning at 18 meters, is hidden in the blue water south of Hondaafushi and is covered in blue, red, yellow, and purple soft and hard corals. On the southwestern side, there are many large overhangs with large schools of mackerel and snapper. The view into the blue water is also worthwhile. Here, great encounters with large fish and various species of rays are frequently encountered.

Coral Alley
Located south of Theefaridhoo Island, the thila is one of the most colorful reefs around Hondaafushi. Large overhangs on the south-southwest side, covered with blue, orange, purple, and yellow soft coral, provide perfect protection from the current. The blue water is teeming with fish, including fusiliers, surgeonfish, and snappers. You can access the north side of the thila through the two canyons at the southwest end.

Crusoe Thila
Located north of the uninhabited island of Hodaidhoo, Crusoe Thila starts at 15m depth and is surrounded by numerous beautiful overhangs. A great spot for schooling fish and macro enthusiasts. Schools of snapper, longnose hawksbills, various nudibranchs, shrimp, and the occasional nurse shark can be found in the overhangs.

Didhdhoo Wall
This drift dive takes us into the channel southwest of Didhdhoo Island. The reef top starts at 8-10m and drops steeply. The reef wall is interspersed with large and small overhangs. In the overhangs, you can find various nudibranch species and shrimp. A look into the blue water is always worthwhile. Here, you'll find plenty of schooling fish and various species of rays.

Filladhoo Wreck
The wreck, named "Captain Pentails," sank in 1963 on the southeastern side of Filladhoo Island, and is visible even from the surface. It slopes downwards at a depth of between 0 and 18 meters. Although only a few parts of the wreck are well preserved, it still boasts numerous schooling fish. In addition to numerous species of snapper, turtles and eagle rays have also found a home here.

Fisch & Friends
This dive site is located on the north side of Mulidhoo Island. Plenty of colorful fish can be seen here. In addition to schools of bluefin tuna, yellow snapper, tuna, and mackerel, turtles are not uncommon. During the northeast monsoon, manta rays can also be spotted on the small cleaner blocks.

Flokati Thila
A true sensation! This beautifully overgrown thila, beginning at 15 meters, is located south of Hondaafushi and lives up to its name. Like a flokati carpet, hard corals and red, yellow, and blue soft corals cover the reef roof, the numerous overhangs, and its two large canyons on the southeast and northwest sides. In addition to schools of jacks and fusiliers, sleeping nurse sharks, whitetip reef sharks, and gray reef sharks can be spotted here.

Golden Wall
A beautiful drift dive on the outer edge of the atoll. The reef wall, dotted with large overhangs, starts at 6m and drops steeply to 30m. The overhangs are beautifully covered with yellow soft coral. Various shrimp species, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, and even lobsters hide here. A look into the blue water is also worthwhile. In addition to hunting tuna and mackerel, reef sharks and stingrays swim along the golden wall.

Kingdom of Fish
A true kingdom of fish awaits you here. The southern side of the thila, which is several hundred meters long, drops gradually from a depth of 15 meters to 30 meters. At the various levels, there are beautiful overhangs covered with soft corals. In the blue water, you can observe reef sharks and numerous schooling fish. The reef roof, with its large blocks of hard coral, provides a perfect home for small reef sharks and schools of snapper.

Mafaahi West
A relaxing dive on the house reef of Mafaahi Island. The reef top starts at 6-8 meters and slopes down to 25 meters. Due to the special vegetation on the reef, turtles and rays are often encountered here. Large coral blocks along the wall provide shelter for various macro organisms.

Purple Caves

Rainbow Canyon
A colorful thila located south of Finey Island. The reef begins at a depth of 15 meters and drops steeply to 30 meters on all sides. The south side is interspersed with large overhangs covered with blue, red, and orange soft corals. Nudibranchs and microorganisms can be found in the overhangs. A look into the blue water is also worthwhile. Various species of rays and Napoleon wrasse are not uncommon there.

Sharks Hole
We start our dive in blue water, about 100 meters from a large thila. At a depth of 30 meters, we find a reef edge covered in blue soft corals. Here, all we have to do is wait, because the big fish will appear on their own. At the edge, you can see grey reef sharks, large barracudas, and plenty of schooling fish. We then drift to the thila, which gradually rises to a depth of 12 meters. Lobsters, stingrays, and various schools of snapper hide beneath the large blocks of hard coral.

Snappers Corner
This dive site is located on the south side of Muraidhoo Island. The reef top starts at 6-10m depth and drops steeply to 30m+. The steep wall features a variety of overhangs and two large rocks covered in soft corals, surrounded by a large school of blue-striped snapper. In addition to various macro life, you might encounter sleeping nurse sharks, reef sharks, and Napoleon wrasse.

The Cathedral
A relaxing drift dive on the outer edge of the atoll. The reef starts at a depth of 8-10 meters and drops steeply to 30 meters. Turtle Hill
This small thila starts at a depth of 15m and is connected to the house reef of Muraidhoo Island by a sand saddle. The house reef's vegetation makes it a true turtle paradise. In addition to turtles, you can observe a variety of macro creatures in the small overhangs, such as pipefish, various nudibranch species, and even lobsters.
